Obviously, we encounter many people in daily life. They may be family members, neighbors, acquaintances, new folk, and even strangers. Yet, beyond what we physically see, there are unseen beings we never behold with our physical eyes. How important it is to be aware of the invisible realm all the time. Let us consider who is watching us.

  1. Satan and his evil ones watch us.

    While we can’t see these wicked beings, they exist. For example, Satan with his henchmen prowl about in unseen realms, seeking to steal, kill, and destroy. Though we can’t see these things that roam, they surely strive to influence us in negative ways.

  2. Righteous angels watch over us.

    While Satan seeks to bring us hurt and harm, divine angels eternally dwell to protect the human race. These holy beings watch over us day and night, while we don’t see them or grasp their presence. Truly, an angelic host surrounds the earth, protecting and preparing for a future that will boggle our minds.  Billy Graham wrote a book about this in 1996.

  3. Saints-gone-before-us watch and wait for us.

    Recognize that the moment a believer breathes their last breath, in a twinkling-of-an-eye that blessed one enters heaven. Instantly, the individual arrives in heaven. Everlastingly our new home will be full of glory and grace. And it is there that we will meet with our loved ones who have gone before us.

  4. The triune God – Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit – watch and wait for us.

    Behold the good news awaiting God’s children.“‘What no eye has seen, nor ear has heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love Him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9). Not only is God watching us, He is always there to keep us safe, protect us, and provided for us.

I hope this will be an encouragement to you and your family. Also, alllow what is written below to inspire you even more. Listen to an old hymn entitled, “No, Never Alone.”

I’ve seen the lightning flashing,And heard the thunder roll,
I’ve felt sin’s breakers dashing,Trying to conquer my soul;
I’ve heard the voice of my Savior,Telling me still to fight on,

He promised never to leave me,Never to leave me alone.
